Hello everyone,
This is our last newsletter of 2025.
Before we step into 2026, I want to pause for a moment,
not to talk about design trends, tools, or goals, but to talk about you.
Especially if you’re a designer.
People often think creative jobs are easy.
They think we just sit, think creatively, and make things look good.
What they don’t see is the reality behind the screen.
The long hours spent sitting in one place.
The constant screen time.
The pressure to be creative every single day.
The overthinking.
The self-doubt.
They don’t see how much effort goes into one idea.
Or how many times we restart.
Or how many late nights happen quietly.
I see many designers working late into the night.
Skipping sleep.
Ignoring their bodies.
Pushing themselves too hard.
Creativity may look soft from the outside
But it demands a lot from the inside.
As designers, we’re great at taking care of projects.
Great at meeting deadlines.
Great at solving problems for others.
But we often forget one thing:
We also have a responsibility to take care of ourselves.
Your mind is your most important tool.
And it needs rest.
So before the new year begins,
here are a few simple reminders not rules, not pressure.
Just gentle reminders for you.
Sleep at least 8 hours.
Your brain creates better when it’s rested.
Exercise every day, even a little.
Movement clears the mind.
Eat healthy.
Fuel matters more than we think.
Go outside.
The world exists beyond screens.
Explore the world, even if it’s just your neighborhood.
Feel nature.
It resets something inside us.
Learn something new.
Curiosity keeps creativity alive.
And most importantly
be kind to yourself.
Your creativity needs rest.
Your mind needs care.
You matter more than any deadline, any client, or any project.
No design is worth burnout.
No deadline is worth your health.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for creating.
Thank you for choosing this journey even when it’s hard.
Wishing you an early Happy New Year
See you in 2026 stronger, calmer, and closer to your goals.
You’ve got this. <3
Let’s make 2026 count.
